One of Max Verstappen’s GT racing team-mates has been active on social media defending the four-time world champion.
Max Verstappen’s Nürburgring 24 Hours team-mate Dani Juncadella defended him against criticism from former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner. Verstappen has been vocal in his criticism of the new F1 regulations, comparing them to Formula E and Mario Kart, hinting at leaving the sport if changes aren’t made by 2027. Despite securing a podium at the Canadian Grand Prix, Verstappen continues to advocate for rule changes. Steiner suggested that Verstappen’s opinions would be different if he were winning races. Juncadella expressed displeasure with Steiner’s comments on social media, highlighting the ongoing debate over F1 regulations.
