Nyck de Vries, with F1 and endurance racing experience, was the first choice due to his speed and weight advantage. Fernando Alonso, a two-time Le Mans winner, was the next pick as a current peer who adds valuable experience to the team. Jos Verstappen, Max’s father, was also included in the lineup, despite his initial reluctance, to make it a fun and memorable experience for the Verstappen racing family. The prospect of racing alongside these talented drivers excites Max Verstappen for a potential Le Mans challenge in the future.
