Liam Lawson matched his best result of the season with a run to seventh place at the Canadian Grand Prix.

Liam Lawson acknowledged the challenge posed by Pierre Gasly in the final stages of the Canadian Grand Prix, but expressed relief at finishing in the top seven. Despite starting outside the top 10, Lawson made steady progress throughout the race. In the closing laps, Gasly put pressure on Lawson while on a different tire strategy, but Lawson managed to hold his position. Lawson mentioned that Gasly had a pace advantage, especially compared to the Alpines. Reflecting on the race, Lawson hinted at considering alternative tire strategies for better results. Despite being the sole Racing Bulls driver in the race due to Lindblad’s issue, Lawson found solace in securing valuable points.
