Despite starting in seventh, Hamilton quickly moved up to third place after an impressive start and overtakes. However, Mercedes’ strategy of double-stacking led to Hamilton dropping to fourth and missing out on a podium finish. Hamilton expressed confidence in Ferrari’s potential to catch up to Mercedes and praised the team’s performance in the season opener. He emphasized the need to continue pushing and working hard to close the gap to the dominant Mercedes team.
