Lewis Hamilton will be ditching a Ferrari driver aid after a troubled Miami Grand Prix weekend.
Lewis Hamilton decided to step back from using Ferrari’s F1 simulator as he believed it steered him in the wrong direction for the Miami GP. Despite not being a regular simulator user, Hamilton felt starting the weekend with a setup closer to Leclerc’s could have yielded better results. Reflecting on his weekend, he expressed dissatisfaction with how the simulator did not align with the actual car performance on track. Hamilton plans to avoid using the simulator before the next race, opting to focus on factory meetings instead. Despite starting on the wrong foot in Miami, Hamilton acknowledged the car’s unideal balance for the race but recognized its benefits for qualifying.
