Silencing the Rivals: Lando Norris Faces Controversial Interview Directive

Lando Norris has often been one to speak his mind on various F1 topics, but on this occasion, it seems he wasn’t allowed to.

Lando Norris was prevented from discussing Max Verstappen, George Russell, and the new F1 regulations in a recent interview by his management team, as reported. The topic ban was disclosed during a conversation with The Guardian. Earlier this year, Norris had been vocal about his concerns regarding the potential dangers of the new rules, raising the alarm about high closing speeds and the risk of major accidents. Despite attempts to steer the interview away from these topics, the author pushed back and managed to address the issue of the regulations with Norris. Eventually, when pressed about the restrictions, Norris seemed uncomfortable and deferred to his management’s decisions, mentioning that he was not in charge, and even though he expressed willingness to answer certain questions, his management intervened, praising Max Verstappen and shutting down further discussion.
