Revving Up the Excitement: Lance Stroll Unleashes Aston Martin F1’s ‘Beast’

The Aston Martin car has struggled with Honda woes, but Lance Stroll has made a chassis concession.

Lance Stroll has acknowledged that Aston Martin’s chassis performance is a hurdle for the team, expressing that the Adrian Newey design is not the most aggressive.

While Aston Martin’s challenges in 2026 mainly stem from power unit issues, the chassis is also seen as not being fully optimized for performance.

Stroll has not finished any of the three races so far, with retirements in China and Japan and a ‘not classified’ result in Australia after stopping but returning to finish 15 laps down.

Stroll mentioned that the AMR26 car is still lacking in certain areas, citing a combination of power unit and car as key factors contributing to their struggles.

Despite limited time for development between races, Aston Martin has a plan in place for future months to improve lap times and address performance issues in Formula 1.
