Those in attendance at one of the most iconic motorsport events will get the chance to see Formula E’s new Gen4 in person.
Formula E has unveiled its new Gen4 race car at Circuit Paul Ricard, which will be showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year.
The all-electric series premiered the brand-new car in France, set to debut in the next season under a new regulatory cycle.
The Gen4 showcases permanent all-wheel drive, a top speed over 335 km/h, 600 kW of power, and can reach 0-100 km/h in just 1.8 seconds.
Compared to the current Gen3 Evo used in the ongoing Formula E campaign, the Gen4 promises a significant performance upgrade.
Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds mentioned that besides Goodwood, the car will make appearances at upcoming races, albeit not necessarily on-track.
Racing enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the new Gen4 race car up close at various events before its official testing in November ahead of the next season.
