Formula E is set to shake up the world of motorsport, because here comes its Gen4 car!
Formula E has introduced its Gen4 race car for the upcoming season, aiming to become the fastest single-seater series globally and challenge F1. With speeds over 335 km/h and a 0–100 km/h time of 1.8 seconds, it’s set to rival Formula 2 and approach F1 performance. The Gen4 boasts a 70% power increase from the Gen3 Evo, reaching 600 kW in full attack mode and during qualifying. It marks Formula E’s largest, longest, and most powerful car to date, expected to draw significant attention. CEO Jeff Dodds stated that Gen4 symbolizes the championship’s ambition and showcases performance once deemed unattainable for EVs, setting a new standard for motorsport. Manufacturers like Porsche, Jaguar, and Stellantis will continue refining the Gen4 for even greater performance in the upcoming racing season.
