Racing Bulls chief Alan Permane believes there won’t be immediate changes once talks conclude.
Racing Bulls boss Alan Permane expressed caution about the immediate impact of the technical regulations changes for the Miami Grand Prix in Formula 1.
Discussions are currently underway among the FIA, F1, and teams to address issues identified in the first three races, with talks scheduled for April 15th and April 20th before decisions are finalized for the Miami GP.
Miami and Canada will host Sprint events before F1 moves to Monaco in June, where significant testing opportunities will be limited due to the unique circuit.
Permane sees the Barcelona-Catalunya GP in mid-June as the first true chance to evaluate the full package of rule changes under more standard conditions.
While changes are expected for Miami, the complexity of the Sprint format may restrict the scope of adjustments, with a gradual approach likely in place for testing simpler solutions in different race settings.
