Shocking news as the home of F1 legend Alain Prost was the target of a gang who raided the household.
“Alain Prost, a four-time Formula 1 World Champion, was the victim of a violent home robbery at his villa in Nyon, Switzerland on Tuesday morning, where one of his sons was forced to open the family safe under the threat of violence, resulting in injuries to Prost during the attack. The suspects are still on the run.
Reportedly, the incident occurred around 8:30 am local time when masked individuals forced entry onto the Prost family’s Lake Geneva property, leaving the 71-year-old with a head injury and the family under threat as the intruders searched for access to the safe.
The specific items stolen are yet to be disclosed, but Prost’s association with luxury watchmaking, particularly with Richard Mille, is well-known. The police initiated an extensive search with dog units and forensic teams following the incident.
French authorities were also informed as the thieves may have escaped across the border. Despite no arrests, Prost received medical attention for his minor injuries and has returned to his residence in Dubai. The robbery reflects a concerning trend, with Geneva reporting 18 similar cases in 2025, often targeted at high-end watch collections by organised crime groups.”
