Among the many upgraded cars in Miami this weekend, Red Bull has certainly caught the eye!
Red Bull made significant upgrades to their car in Miami to improve predictability in its behavior on the track. The changes focused on the front wing, sidepod profile, and rear end of the RB22. The new front wing features horizontal profiles on the endplates to direct airflow more efficiently. The revised sidepod profile includes a rearward ramp for better airflow management and stability, especially in corners. The rear end upgrades include the innovative “Macarena” wing and a new exhaust configuration to enhance downforce generation and improve aerodynamic performance. These improvements signify a shift towards a more advanced aerodynamic concept for Red Bull’s car.
