Doriane Pin Accelerates to New Heights with Citroën in Formula E Transition

The list of female drivers involved in Formula E is rapidly increasing, following Citroën’s signing of Doriane Pin.

Mercedes F1 development driver Doriane Pin has joined Formula E team Citroën as its Gen4 development driver, marking her first venture into the all-electric series.

The move not only expands Pin’s involvement in motorsport but also boosts the representation of female drivers in Formula E.

After testing a Mercedes F1 car at Silverstone, Pin will now drive Citroën’s Gen4 car on multiple occasions later this year.

As part of her expanded role, Pin is currently working on the GEN4 simulator with the team, aiming to understand the systems and driving approach.

The list of female drivers in Formula E is growing, with Pin now among the prominent names, including Nerea Martí, Abbi Pulling, Bianca Bustamante, and Sophia Flörsch.

Having shown promising talent and technical insight, Pin’s role in developing Citroën’s GEN4 package underlines her potential and marks a significant moment for the team in preparation for the championship’s future.
