Australian former F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has not closed the door on a potential return to racing, even after his unexpected departure from motorsport when Racing Bulls released him during the 2024 season.
Following his surprising exit in favor of Liam Lawson, Ricciardo, a seven-time Grand Prix winner who made his mark with Red Bull Racing, now serves as a global ambassador for Ford Racing.
Although offers from various championships worldwide continue to come his way, including Australian Supercars, NASCAR, and IndyCar, the 36-year-old acknowledges that the frequency of these invitations has decreased over time.
While being asked less frequently about returning to the track, Ricciardo remains open to the idea, noting on a recent podcast appearance that he values his current relaxed lifestyle and appreciates the freedom from the pressures of competitive racing.
