GT Racer Christopher Haase encountered traffic at the Nordschleife at the worst possible time, and Max Verstappen capitalised.
During the Nürburgring Nordschleife qualifying session, Christopher Haase faced disappointment when a collision with a slower car allowed Max Verstappen to take the lead.
Haase, a prominent figure in GT racing, had been in a commanding position but encountered issues due to the track’s unpredictable nature, especially with slower traffic.
The incident took place at Flugplatz, a challenging part of the circuit, where Haase spotted the slower car ahead and tried to adjust his speed to avoid a collision.
Despite his efforts to manage the situation, the slower driver failed to notice Haase, resulting in a setback for the experienced racer.
Reflecting on the event, Haase emphasized the strategic aspect of maintaining a gap and the constant challenge of dealing with traffic interruptions on the demanding track.
