Aston Martin and Honda have endured a dismal start to the new F1 campaign.
Aston Martin denies that the distance between their facility and Honda’s factory is a factor in the challenging start to the new season. Despite the partnership being new and Honda causing vibrations and unreliability in the engine, the team believes the geographical distance is not an issue. Team ambassador Pedro de la Rosa mentioned that working closely with Honda from Japan, despite being far from Silverstone, has worked in the past. While the car has been struggling on the grid, Aston Martin remains confident in the partnership and is working to support Honda to improve performance. De la Rosa emphasized the importance of giving Honda time and team support to work together effectively and build a successful relationship.
