Antonio Felix da Costa sits 36 points adrift of the top of the Formula E drivers’ title going into the Monaco E-Prix double-header.
António Félix da Costa believes that inconsistency in race results is posing a significant challenge to his chances of winning the Formula E drivers’ title this season, labeling it as a “win or bust” scenario. Despite an impressive start at Jaguar with consecutive wins in Jeddah and Madrid, da Costa acknowledges the need for more consistent points-scoring finishes to support his bid for a second championship. The Portuguese driver, known for his strong qualifying performances, has so far struggled to maintain podium finishes, with only two victories and one additional top-five result in eight completed rounds. Da Costa emphasizes the importance of securing points consistently, even when not on the podium, to stay competitive in the championship battle. Reflecting on the highs and lows of the season, da Costa remains self-critical and determined to improve, recognizing the need for more finishes in the top five, six, and seven positions in order to achieve his ultimate goal of winning the championship.
