Malthe Jakobsen broke Peugeot’s four-year pole position drought in the World Endurance Championship by claiming the top spot at the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Jakobsen, alongside teammates Loic Duval and Theo Pourchaire in the #94 Peugeot 9X8, narrowly beat the #12 Jota Cadillac, piloted by Will Stevens, by a mere 0.043s, with the #35 Alpine trailing further behind by 0.035s in a highly competitive qualifying session.

In the LMGT3 category, the Akkodis ASP Team’s Lexus, driven by Hadrien David, comfortably led the pack by two-tenths of a second ahead of Heart of Racing’s Aston Martin, with Zacharie Robichon behind the wheel.
