Dino Beganovic secured the opening FIA F2 pole position of the 2026 season at the Australian Grand Prix, while Colton Herta had to settle for 14th place.
Herta struggled to put together a clean lap until the end of the session, with Beganovic impressively taking pole position despite Herta setting the fastest time in sector 2.
The sprint race pole position was grabbed by ART’s Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak, with the top 10 drivers reversed for the race.
