Nikola Tsolov secured the first feature race victory of the F2 season by defeating Rafael Camera at Melbourne’s Albert Park Circuit with a 1.6-second lead. Laurens van Hoepen finished third in the support event preceding the Australian Grand Prix. The top five was completed by Oliver Geothe and Ritomo Miyata in a 33-lap race that had two interruptions. The race took an unexpected turn when Rodin teammates Alex Dunne and Martinius Stenshorne collided at the first corner, leading to a safety car deployment. Additionally, Dino Beganovic, who started from pole position, had to retire due to reliability issues, resulting in a Virtual Safety Car period. Before the race even began, Sebastian Montoya’s actions in the pit lane caused damage to Roman Bilinski’s DAMS Lucas Oil car.
