Winward Mercedes, JDC Miller Audi battle to MPC Indy victories
Daniel Morad and Bryce Ward achieved an impressive victory in the Grand Sport class and overall at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 240 race. Despite starting in seventh place, Ward spun out in the opening laps, dropping them to the end of the field. However, they gradually climbed back up to 13th place before a quick pit stop and driver change elevated Morad to seventh. From there, Morad showcased his skills and took the lead around one-third into the race. Although several full-course cautions narrowed his lead, he managed to fend off the competition and secure the win. Morad described it as the most intense race of his life, while Ward praised his teammate’s performance and driving.
