The Pirelli GT4 America field wrapped up Saturday’s action at Sebring International Raceway with Race 1 in the late afternoon hours, featuring intense wheel-to-wheel battles despite slightly cooler temperatures. Eric Filgueiras and John Capestro-Dubets secured the overall and Silver class win for RS1, while Kay van Berlo and Curt Swearingin claimed the Pro-Am victory for ACI Motorsports with a late charge. RS1’s Austin and Roland Krainz celebrated the Am class win.
In the Silver class, John Capestro-Dubets started from pole position but Jonathan Neudorf took the lead in the opening laps. However, a post-race penalty moved TechSport Racing to the back, awarding RS1 the win. In the Pro-Am category, Kay van Berlo overtook Dan Dyszelski to claim the class victory for ACI Motorsports, followed by RySpec Racing and Blackdog Speed Shop.
