Rowe crowned 2023 USF Pro 2000 champion with third at Portland
Myles Rowe and Michael d’Orlando achieved their goals during the second leg of the VP Racing Fuels Grand Prix of Portland. Rowe secured the USF Pro 2000 championship and a valuable scholarship, becoming the first African American to win a U.S. open-wheel championship. D’Orlando took a flag-to-flag victory, showcasing his talent once again. Nikita Johnson finished in second place, completing a successful day for VRD Racing. The race was clean and entertaining, with all drivers making it through the initial corners intact. D’Orlando built a lead, but Johnson closed the gap in the final laps.
