Race winners from the 2023 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion
The annual Monterey Car Week and Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion have come to a close at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, featuring vintage racing and a special display celebrating 70 years of the Chevrolet Corvette. The paddock was filled with iconic race cars from the early ’70s, including Can-Am, Trans Am, and F5000. Chip Fudge took first place in Group 1, driving his ’60 Huffaker Genie MK IV, followed closely by Horatio Fitz-Simon and Cameron Healy. Remo Lips dominated the Group 2 races in his striking ’69 Ferrari 312P. Formula 5000 racers also gathered for a reunion, with Kirt Bennett emerging as the top qualifier and victor, while Paul Zazryn put up a strong fight.
