Power eager for 2024 reset after troubled IndyCar title defense
Outgoing NTT IndyCar Series champion Will Power is ready to move on from a challenging season impacted by off-track matters. Despite sealing his second championship last year, Power is now facing the possibility of his first winless season since 2006. His wife’s serious health issues have affected his focus and preparation throughout the year. However, with his wife’s health improving significantly, Power plans to spend the winter analyzing car performance and reflecting on areas to improve. While Power’s struggles have been evident, the entire Team Penske fell short of their championship goals. They will spend the off-season assessing their shortcomings and looking for opportunities to regain their competitive edge with the introduction of hybrid power plants in 2024.
