Williams to run select Cup races for Kaulig, including L.A. Clash
Josh Williams will make his first start in the L.A. Clash this weekend, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro sponsored by Alloy Employer Services. The race serves as the unofficial start of the NASCAR season and will feature 36 teams, with 23 allowed to compete in the main event. The starting field will be determined by a series of heat races. Kaulig Racing confirmed that Williams will also drive in the February 25 race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, and additional starts will be announced later. Williams previously ran three Cup races in 2022 and is excited for the opportunity to race with a team like Kaulig. A.J. Allmendinger, the full-time driver of the No. 16 car last year, will return to the Xfinity Series full-time in 2024 but will also run select Cup races, including the Daytona 500. Kaulig Racing is optimistic about the partnership with Alloy Employer Services and hopes for multiple Cup starts with Williams this season.
