Marc Marquez, the six-time world champion, showcased an untouchable performance at the track where he ended his long winning drought over 1,000 days ago.
Despite a minor setback due to excessive wheelspin during the Saturday sprint, Marquez’s pace advantage allowed him to regain the lead and secure victory, making his win almost predictable.
In the main race, Marquez led from start to finish, with nobody posing a real challenge, showcasing his dominance once again.
On the other hand, Johann Zarco experienced a disappointing weekend at Aragon, with struggles in qualifying and the race, culminating in a forgettable performance.
KTM, surprisingly holding third place in the constructors’ standings without a podium finish this season, had a strong showing at Motorland, with multiple riders in Q2 and a promising race pace.
Despite Zarco’s difficulties, KTM’s performance, especially with Maverick Vinales finishing seventh in Tech3, signals a positive trend for the Austrian manufacturer.
