He denied driving Norris off the track intentionally and questioned the penalties imposed on him. Verstappen emphasized the need for a more competitive car to avoid similar situations in the future. Additionally, he pointed out discrepancies in how penalties were handled for him compared to other drivers, highlighting a perceived bias. The FIA is reportedly still assessing whether Charles Leclerc’s behavior in a post-race press conference warrants further investigation.
