The Aragon Grand Prix’s main highlight was the intense battle between Franco Morbidelli and Fermin Aldeguer for 5th place, with close sparring and even contact on the back straight.
Although it wasn’t for the lead, the fight was described as epic by Morbidelli, who revealed feeling pure adrenaline and facing challenges in handling the bike during the race.
Despite struggling at the beginning and risking crashes at turns 9 and 10, Morbidelli managed to secure P5 by outdueling Fermin, whom he praised for his strength.
Morbidelli compared the battle with Fermin to his past encounters with Marc Marquez, noting that this time he emerged victorious, even though the competition was fierce.
Reflecting on his performance in comparison to the previous day’s sprint race, Morbidelli admitted to facing similar challenges and pushing his limits to bring the bike home safely.
