Ferrari unveiled major updates for the Austrian Grand Prix in hopes of turning around their mixed start to the 2025 season.
The updates focused on modifications to the floor sections, particularly the floor fences, body, and diffuser, showcasing a redefined floor for the Red Bull Ring weekend.
One noticeable change was made to the floor ‘edge wing’, with a revised shape aimed at enhancing airflow efficiency.
The team aims to boost performance with updated front floor fences and optimized floor loading, leading to an overall load gain across the car’s operational range.
Ferrari’s strategy of running the SF-25 at higher ride heights prioritizes consistency over peak performance, with a focus on manipulating floor design for optimal aerodynamic effect.
Although qualifying speed remains a challenge for Ferrari in 2025, the team’s focus on enhancing tyre management, balance, and downforce for races shows a shift towards consistent performance on Sundays.
