Cadillac secured the front row of the grid at the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours with standout performances by Alex Lynn and Earl Bamber in the Hyperpole session, surpassing Porsche’s initial pole position contention.
Alex Lynn clinched the pole position with a lightning-fast 3m23.166s in the #12 V-Series.R LMDh, outpacing last year’s pole time by 1.5 seconds.
Earl Bamber also excelled, placing his machine in second on the grid with a time of 3m23.333s, followed by the top Porsche Penske Motorsport LMDh in third.
BMW and Porsche claimed the next spots on the grid, showcasing a competitive field for the legendary endurance race.
Meanwhile, Toyota faced qualifying challenges as the #7 GR010 HYBRID LMH missed Hyperpole, and the #8 car could not complete a lap due to Sébastien Buemi’s mishap.
In the LMP2 class, Mathias Beche seized pole position for TDS Racing, leading a closely contested top four lineup with precise driving and strategy in the #29 ORECA-Gibson 07.
