Ferrari remains the favorite to achieve a third consecutive victory in Le Mans, despite only qualifying seventh on the grid. The technical director of Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe acknowledges Ferrari’s advantage in race pace but believes the competition from other manufacturers, including Toyota, is strong. Porsche has improved its straight-line speed and raceability compared to last year, positioning itself as a mid-pack contender. The idea of hydrogen-fueled cars racing at Le Mans is no longer a distant dream, with a planned introduction in 2028.
