Rosenqvist joins Meyer Shank Racing for 2024 IndyCar season, Pagenaud departs
Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) has announced that Felix Rosenqvist will join the team as Simon Pagenaud’s replacement for the 2024 IndyCar season. Pagenaud has been sidelined due to post-concussion symptoms following a crash in July, and a number of drivers have filled in for him throughout the season. Rosenqvist, who recently signed a multi-year agreement with MSR, expressed his excitement about the opportunity to elevate his IndyCar career and work with his old friend Tom Blomqvist. Team boss Mike Shank is looking forward to starting over with Rosenqvist and Blomqvist, and believes that they will work well together. Pagenaud, on the other hand, released a statement expressing his best wishes for the team and his focus on recuperating.
