Jordan Pepper claimed his first DTM victory at the Norisring in dominant fashion, following his success at Spa 24 Hours just one week prior. Despite a pit stop setback, Pepper maintained his lead to secure the win in a tense 55-minute race. Thomas Preining and Maro Engel completed the podium, while Nicki Thiim faced early race contact and finished in 20th place. The race also saw impressive recoveries from Rene Rast and Aston Martin’s Gilles Magnus, who scored the brand’s first points of the season. The championship battle is heating up, with Lucas Auer leading the standings and Pepper closing in just six points behind. The next race at Norisring will take place on Sunday at 1:30pm local time.
