Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch has decided to stay at Richard Childress Racing for the 2026 season by exercising the option in his contract.
Busch is a dominant force in NASCAR, holding the record for the most Cup wins among current full-time drivers and the most victories in Xfinity and Truck Series history.
After starting his Cup career at Hendrick Motorsports in 2005 and moving to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2008, Busch made the surprising move to RCR in 2023, where he has faced mixed results.
Despite not finding Victory Lane in nearly 70 races, Busch remains optimistic about his future at RCR and looks forward to continuing as teammates with Austin Dillon.
The announcement of Busch’s contract extension comes amid other driver news, including William Byron’s four-year deal with Hendrick Motorsports, solidifying the lineup for the upcoming seasons.
