Organisers of Madrid’s 2026 Spanish Grand Prix are working tirelessly to ensure the new Madring circuit is ready for its F1 debut next September, despite local opposition. Construction is in full swing, with the ambitious La Monumental banking being a standout feature. The circuit’s unique design includes a mix of existing streets and purpose-built road course sections. Around 85 workers are currently onsite, with that number set to increase to 400 as construction progresses. The circuit has been designed to avoid track limit issues, with input from F1 drivers like Carlos Sainz to ensure an exciting and challenging layout. Overall, the team is ahead of schedule and confident in delivering a top-notch racing venue for the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix.
