Arvid Lindblad, a young Red Bull prospect, tested the Racing Bull’s 2023 AT04 for his first official F1 test at Imola, splitting Testing of Previous Cars duties with fellow Red Bull junior Ayumu Iwasa.
The 17-year-old Lindblad, who recently obtained his F1 superlicense, is a promising talent in the Red Bull family, given a dispensation due to not meeting the age limit of 18 yet.
Despite minor spins at the Variante Alta chicane, Lindblad’s test with the AT04, following a previous filming day at Imola, went well, positioning him for potential FP1 practice debut later this season and further outings with both Racing Bulls and Red Bull.
With successful campaigns in Formula Regional Oceania and F2, including a feature race win in Spain, Lindblad is carving his path in the competitive racing world, currently ranked third in the championship.
