Three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner Andre Lotterer expressed his interest in exploring opportunities in rallying after fulfilling his dream of driving a World Rally Championship car. Lotterer, with a background in sportscar racing and Formula E, has always admired rallying, influenced by his father’s rally team in Belgium. Recently, Lotterer had the chance to experience driving a WRC Citroen DS3, courtesy of close friend Thierry Neuville. Impressed by the WRC car’s agility and control, Lotterer mentioned his desire to further participate in rally events and potentially consider a Dakar Rally programme in the future. Although currently focused on his sportscar commitments, Lotterer remains enthusiastic about expanding his horizons in the world of rallying.
