Hyundai’s drivers, including Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak, are not signed beyond this season, fueling speculation. Concerns regarding the 2027 WRC technical regulations, like the cost cap and lack of platform for relevant technology, have made Hyundai cautious about their long-term involvement. Despite participating in the 2026 World Endurance Championship, the brand’s decision on continuing in WRC beyond 2026 is awaited.
