Concerns regarding the 2027 WRC technical regulations, like the cost cap and lack of platform for relevant technology, have made Hyundai cautious about their long-term involvement. Despite participating in the 2026 World Endurance Championship, the brand’s decision on continuing in WRC beyond 2026 is awaited.
