Marquez Dominates Aragon GP Qualifying, Secures Pole Position against Brother Alex

Marc Marquez secured pole position at the Motorland circuit on Saturday for the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix, where he ended his dry winning spell last year. His younger brother Alex finished in second place after initially holding pole position before a mistake from Marc caused him to lose time. Completing the top three was Franco Morbidelli, who posted a quick lap at the end of the session to move up.

Marc led the session early on, being the only rider to go below 1m46s, with Alex always a threat. Francesco Bagnaia overcame braking issues to take fourth, while KTM impressed with Pedro Acosta in fifth and Brad Binder in sixth. Fermin Aldeguer and Maverick Vinales secured seventh and eighth positions, respectively.

Fabio Quartararo made a strong recovery to grab ninth, with Di Giannantonio, Mir, and Zarco also in Q2 contention. Quartararo and Di Giannantonio stood out in Q1, while riders like Raul Fernandez and Jack Miller missed out. Marco Bezzecchi had a tough qualifying session, crashing on his first timed lap and starting from 20th on the grid.
