Aprilia’s senior figures have suggested that Jorge Martin will remain with the team in 2026, but they have not yet officially confirmed the end of their contract dispute. Recently, Martin returned from a long-term injury to test the Aprilia MotoGP bike at Misano and aims to compete in the Czech GP next weekend. Team manager Paolo Bonora expressed positivity about Martin staying with Aprilia, highlighting the successful test results. CEO Massimo Rivola also hinted at a resolution to the dispute, indicating that Martin’s desire to leave might be in the past. Rivola emphasized their unchanged position and eagerly awaits Martin’s return, especially after his impressive performance during testing at Misano. Martin must pass a fitness test on July 17 to participate in the Czech GP, the final race before the summer break.
