Ford drivers took the top eight qualifying positions at Atlanta’s NASCAR Cup race, with Joey Logano securing pole position for Team Penske. Logano narrowly edged out Josh Berry in the Wood Brothers Ford for the top spot on the grid. The first two rows were completely dominated by Penske-affiliated cars, showcasing their strong performance. Despite tying for pole position, Logano claimed the spot based on owner’s points. The top five qualifiers included Logano, Berry, Ryan Blaney, Austin Cindric, and Ryan Preece. The qualifying session had a brief delay due to lightning in the vicinity, highlighting NASCAR’s commitment to safety. Some notable drivers, such as Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell, found themselves starting further back in the field than anticipated.
