Francesco Bagnaia expressed his doubts about winning the championship after finishing fourth at the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello, despite a strong start and leading the race early on.
Although Bagnaia was initially competitive with Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez, he gradually slipped back and lost the final podium spot to Fabio Di Giannantonio.
With his current position 110 points behind in the MotoGP standings, Bagnaia admitted it’s challenging to consider the championship under the current circumstances.
Struggling with his Ducati’s front end all season, Bagnaia emphasized the need for changes and improvements to be competitive consistently.
Despite knowing his potential and capability to fight for wins, Bagnaia acknowledged the necessity of feeling comfortable and confident with his bike to achieve success.
