FR Americas champion Hedge joins HMD Motorsports for 2024 Indy NXT campaign
Callum Hedge, a 20-year-old race car driver from New Zealand, has recently won the Formula Regional Americas championship with an impressive lead of 105 points. He will be joining HMD Motorsports in the Indy NXT series next year, driving their #17 entry. Hedge had the opportunity to test the Indy NXT machinery at the Chris Griffis Memorial Test, and despite finishing 14th out of 21 drivers, he is excited for the challenge in 2024. In addition to his success in Formula Regional Americas, Hedge also competes in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia and is currently second in the Pro Class standings. He has previous experience in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship, where he earned three wins and finished second in the championship. Hedge will receive support from his partners, including The Tony Quinn Foundation, The Giltrap Group, and Tasman Motorsports Group, as he prepares for the upcoming season.
