Lewis Hamilton praised Ferrari’s work rate and togetherness after achieving his best qualifying result with the Formula 1 squad, starting fourth at the Austrian Grand Prix. Ferrari introduced a new floor in Spielberg, which improved their performance in qualifying, placing Hamilton on the second row alongside teammate Charles Leclerc. Despite facing some issues during his last run, Hamilton was pleased to be closer to Leclerc and acknowledged the team’s hard work to bring the new floor. He expressed optimism about Ferrari’s performance and hoped to carry the improvements into the race, highlighting the positive direction the team was taking. Although performance challenges have affected Hamilton’s competitive edge, he commended the operational excellence and teamwork within Ferrari, blocking out distractions and focusing on their goals.
