Daniel Suarez, the top foreign-born driver in NASCAR, is seeking a new race team for the 2026 season following his departure from Trackhouse Racing Team. While his destination remains uncertain, Suarez has confirmed that he will not continue driving the No. 99 Chevrolet. Both Suarez and Trackhouse have amicably agreed to part ways at the end of the 2025 season after experiencing success together. Team owner Justin Marks praised Suarez for his significant contribution to Trackhouse and expressed gratitude for his dedication and performance. It is expected that rising star Connor Zilisch, currently under contract with Trackhouse, may replace Suarez in the No. 99 car for the upcoming season. Despite achievements such as his first Cup Series win in 2022, Suarez has struggled in comparison to teammate Ross Chastain, who has outperformed him in recent seasons.
