Ai Ogura will miss the Aragon Grand Prix for Trackhouse due to a tibia fracture sustained at Silverstone last month. The Moto2 world champion crashed during the FP1 session of the British Grand Prix and had to withdraw from the meeting. Despite undergoing surgery and a positive recovery progress, a medical examination on Thursday determined he was not yet fit to return to MotoGP this weekend. Consequently, Trackhouse decided not to run Ogura at Motorland, with the Japanese rider aiming for a comeback at the Italian Grand Prix in two weeks. This setback leaves Trackhouse with a one-rider entry at Aragon, with Raul Fernandez taking the reins.
