During a sim race at F1 Arcade, Brad Pitt playfully flipped off BBC radio host Greg James after finishing behind him in two out of three races. Pitt, who is promoting the F1 movie, made the appearance with co-star Damson Idris. Although competitive, Pitt graciously congratulated James on his victory despite accruing fewer points.
In a recent interview in London, Pitt discussed his McLaren F1 car test at the Circuit of the Americas, where he fell just three miles per hour short of hitting 200 mph. His experience driving the McLaren MCL60 left him exhilarated and craving more, likening the feeling to being in sublime groove and a unique high. Pitt expressed gratitude to Zak Brown and the team for the opportunity.
In the film, Pitt and Idris drove modified F2 cars resembling F1 machines, with Pitt acknowledging the massive step up in performance driving the MCL60. Overall, Pitt’s experience with F1 racing left him inspired and eager for more challenges.
