On Friday, it was announced that Jake Finch would not be competing in the upcoming ARCA race at Michigan due to his health issues. Corey Heim, another Toyota driver, has been selected to replace Finch in the No. 25 car for the race.
Finch, a part-time driver, was supposed to make his third start of the ARCA season at Michigan. Heim, who leads the Truck Series championship standings driving the No. 11 TRICON Garage Toyota, will step in for him.
Although Heim lacks recent ARCA experience, he has an impressive track record in the series, winning nine races in 43 starts and finishing as the runner-up in the 2021 championship. Venturini Motorsports, a long-standing ARCA team since 1982, recently announced plans to sell the team to Nitro Motorsports later this year.
