Formula 1 and the Las Vegas Grand Prix have said that single-day ticket holders for Thursday will receive $200 discount
Due to loose drain covers, only eight minutes of action were seen at Thursday’s track activity, leading to the cancellation of the remainder of FP1. FP2 started late without fans in attendance due to risks for employees and fans. This decision was made in accordance with federal laws regarding working hours for transportation employees, police departments, and public safety officials. The majority of fans in attendance have three-day passes and will not qualify for the voucher, but those with Thursday tickets will receive a $200 discount voucher as a thank you for their support and as compensation for the inconvenience caused by the incident.
